Drift Safety Gear Checklist
This drift safety gear checklist is a practical starting point for drivers preparing for track days, grassroots drift events, and competition. Always confirm the exact requirements with your event organizer.
Core driver safety gear
Most drift drivers should start with a properly rated helmet, appropriate clothing or racewear, gloves, and shoes. As the car and event requirements increase, harnesses, restraints, and additional fire-resistant gear may become required.
Helmet accessories to check
A helmet is only part of the setup. Shields, tear-offs, cheek pads, liners, air fittings, and communication pieces can make the difference between gear that simply fits and gear that works all day.
- Helmet accessories
- Replacement shields and anti-fog options.
- Cheek pads, crown liners, and top pads for fit adjustment.
- Communication accessories when your setup requires them.
Inventory and backorders
Driftaholic Racing does not take backorders for Zamp products. In-stock Zamp inventory is synced daily so available products are easier to trust before ordering.
