Driver Story
Nicholas Abbott found drifting on YouTube around 2016 and immediately fell in love with it. His first car was a 1991 240SX, and it is still the same chassis he drives today. He eventually took the car to Piedmont Drift for his first drift event, then started competing in 2022 with MB Drift and found success there. Nicholas credits MB Drift and Catch My Drift with helping him grow his driving skills and car setup capabilities tremendously. Everything came together in 2025 when he came just shy of winning a Formula Drift ProSpec license with East10 Drift. His end goal is to compete with the best drivers in the world, and he sees this as just the beginning.

Tire review
Zeknova Supersport RS 300TW
240SX S13 | All events
Nicholas' take: the Zeknova Supersport RS 300TW is an excellent tire that is great in all categories. It puts off a huge amount of smoke, and grip stays consistent to the very end. It has good forward bite and side bite, though the sidewall starts to roll around the 15 psi mark. This is his go-to tire for almost all events.

GT Radial Champiro SX2 RS
240SX S13 | East10 Pro-AM Bristol
Nicholas' take: the GT Radial Champiro SX2 RS is a full-on competition-level tire that performs great at a high level. It has a huge amount of grip all the way to the end of the tire's life. However, it is super soft and only lasted about two laps. The stiff, short sidewall also reduces side bite, but the extreme forward bite helps make up for it.
