Tear-Off Warning for Prism and Coated Shields

Do not use Racing Optic perimeter seal laminated tear-offs on coated shields, including Z-20 and Z-24 prism shields. They can react with the coating and potentially damage the shield or shorten its life. Standard non-perimeter-seal tear-offs are the safer path where compatible.

For photochromatic shields, tear-offs or adhesives that block UV light may keep the photochromatic effect from working correctly. Check the tear-off product notes before using them with photochromatic shields.
